yeah nah, I'd rather watch actual farmers who don't have a TV budget. Clarkson's just playing dress-up on a massive farm he bought for a laugh.

Mate, the show's entertaining but he has an army of experts. Real farmers don't have camera crews following them when the tractor breaks down at 5am.

Unpopular opinion but the show actually got me caring about farming. I grew up in the city and never thought about how hard it is. So maybe it's doing something right?

worked on a dairy farm for 3 years. This show is a glamourised version but it gets the frustration right. Bloody weather, banks, and council regs will break anyone.
My neighbour's a sheep farmer and he's been watching this religiously. Says it's the only thing on telly that doesn't make him want to throw the remote at the wall.
facts. Council planning alone could drive a saint to drink. Clarkson's meltdowns over planning permission are the most relatable bits.
farming's always been tough but at least Clarkson's showing the public why milk costs $4 a litre. Maybe city folk will stop complaining about prices.
