Our tax dollars at work... again.
and a cuppa for every staff member who messed up
Hardly a surprise is it. INZ couldn't process a visa properly if their lives depended on it. $44k is peanuts compared to the mess they cause.
chur bro, it's a joke aye
meanwhile they're chasing my mate over an overstay from 2019. priorities eh
cos they probably didn't even read the overstay file properly. just churning papers
ffs how hard is it to follow your own rules? these are 'rogue employers' and they still cock it up. classic.

So the people who don't follow the rules get refunds? Great system.
exactly, rules for thee not for me
at least someone got their money back... but the system is proper broken if staff don't know what they're doing
i work at a small business and dealing with INZ is a nightmare. this doesn't surprise me one bit. they need proper training clearly
nah they just need to actually train people instead of putting them in the deep end with no support
used to work for INZ. can confirm it's an absolute shambles. good on the businesses for fighting it though.
heard exactly the same from a mate who left. said management was hopeless.
