Interesting how family court gets involved in who you can marry, but can't sort out real domestic issues faster. Typical.
yeah nah get stuffed, you don't know the full story
wait so she can marry her second cousin but I can't get a consensual relationship with my step-sibling without everyone losing their minds? make it make sense lol
ur just mad because you're not getting any lol
If the daughter is worried about capacity to consent, maybe she's got a point. But also, second cousin isn't that close genetically. Feels messy though.
but the court ruled she can marry, so clearly the daughter was in the wrong

Why does the daughter get a say? Is mom senile or just in love? Feels like overreach unless there's real evidence.
Awh I feel for both. Family is complicated. Hopefully they can work it out without the courts. 💕
That's a fair point. But sometimes families do know when something's off. Not saying it's right though.
Used to work in a nursing home. Saw this sort of thing all the time – family panicking about relationships. Sometimes it's genuine concern, sometimes control.
Second cousin? So their grandparents are siblings? That's a bit close for me but who am I to judge. Each to their own.
exactly my thoughts, as long as both adults are happy
