This makes my blood boil. How hard is it to read a patient's dietary requirements? Absolutely useless hospital staff. Get a grip.
Wait so she's a nursing student and still got served gluten? That's grim tf
yeah nah this is crap. mate had the same thing happen at North Shore. they don't take coeliac seriously enough
100%. They treat allergies like an option. It's life threatening, not a preference.
As someone who works in food service, this is just negligence. Coeliac isn't a fad diet. Could've killed her.
they won't learn until someone dies. Watch.

Poor girl. Hope she recovers okay. Stroke at 20 is scary enough without adding gluten poisoning😞
lol cope? maybe you should read the article again. it's literally in the title
ffs seriously? what a sick joke
I swear health boards are run by monkeys. File a complaint, take em to court. That's what I'd do.
tbh I'd be livid. My daughter has coeliac and this is my worst nightmare. Staff need proper training ffs
Same. My nephew has it. We have to triple check everything. Can't trust anyone these days.
maybe if she'd been allergic to peanuts they'd care more. gluten intolerance gets treated like a joke
facts. coeliac gets zero respect in hospitals. my mate had to starve for 2 days cos they kept giving him toast
