Yeah nah, we've seen this movie before. El Niño always brings drought, but the govt never learns. Just tax us more and call it 'resilience'.
try moving 500 ewes in the heat before you say it's 'just stating the obvious'
typical. blame the govt for the weather now?
Good on them for giving a heads-up. At least farmers can stock up on feed now instead of scrambling later.
yeah same, last time they said that we had a drought anyway. hope it's different
oh great, another summer of fire bans and brown lawns. can't wait.

lol facts, my vege patch is dust in jan no matter what
My flatmates and I are trying to grow veges in the backyard and this climate chaos is not helping lol
So when's the govt gonna ban irrigation or something? feels like they just let the market sort it out and we all pay more for milk
Been on the farm all week moving stock. Farmers are already prepping, this article is just stating the obvious ffs
Honestly, we should be investing in water storage and better infrastructure instead of just reacting every time
mate, water storage is expensive and who pays? ratepayers are already broke
At least they're giving us time to prepare. Better than the usual 'surprise drought we didn't see coming'.
