yeah nah this is a fuckin joke. 9 hours wait and the bloke dies? what a load of shit
100% this. we've been screaming for years. nobody listens till someone dies
Predictable is right. We've been underfunding health for years and now we're shocked when people die waiting. Classic.
worked in that ED for 5 years. we all saw this coming. staff running on empty every shift. but nah just blame the nurses hey
lol facts. but watch em blame the ED staff instead of management
Ffs another inquiry? waste of fucking time. we need actual beds and staff not more reports collecting dust

same vibes as the pitt st thing. nothing changes. ffs
Every time I go to Waikato ED I pack snacks and a book. Getting that bad you gotta prepare for an all-nighter even in the morning
mate I wish I was joking. last time I was there 8 hours with a broken arm. insane
but who's gonna pay for it? can't just magic nurses out of thin air
wonder if that's what the family said... 'who's gonna pay for it' while their dad's dead in the waiting room. get stuffed
fair call. just saying it's complicated. but yeah for the family that's cold comfort
Exactly. We pay taxes for this. The money's there, it's just being wasted on bullshit
