yooo this is huge for Samoan cuisine! finally getting the recognition it deserves, so proud 🇼🇸
Nice one for Henry, but a Michelin star in NZ? bit rich for a country that can't even fix its own roads.
facts, but still good for them innit
oh great, another overpriced restaurant only rich white people can afford. how does this help the average Samoan?
doesn't matter if it's expensive, it's art on a plate. get a grip
up, it's about celebrating culture not politics. go eat ur maccas

So proud of this bloke. Been to Tala twice, unreal food. Worth every cent.
jandals and a singlet mate, it's auckland
Michelin stars are just a marketing gimmick. Bet the place costs $50 for a plate of taro.
lol found the guy who's never actually been
As someone in the industry, this is no joke. Michelin doesn't just hand these out. Respect to Henry and his team.
no umu, but they do have a killer palusami. Just go and find out mate
What's the dress code? Can I turn up in jandals?
Worked at a fine dining spot years ago. Michelin inspectors are brutal. This is a massive achievement for NZ.
Is this the same as that umu thing? Do they cook underground in the restaurant?
