Yeah nah the govt won't do anything til some big corp gets hacked. What a load of shit.
They'll wait til someone loses millions, then act surprised. Classic.
As someone in cybersecurity, it's true – small businesses are getting rinsed daily. We need more support, not just compliance burden.
but the govt needs to do more than just tell us to 'be careful' – free training would be a start.
Spent my whole lunch break reading this. What's new? TUANZ says what we all already know 🙄
like the 'computer says no' approach isn't working

Mate, I can barely remember my email password – expecting small business owners to be cyber experts is a joke.
ffs just use a password manager and 2FA it's not rocket science
outta here with that attitude, the average punter can't even set up 2FA properly
The real problem is companies collecting all our data and then doing sweet FA to protect it. Boneheaded.
then they blame the user for clicking a link. It's a systemic issue.
Lol get stuffed with more regulations. We already have enough red tape in this country.
man, phishing is getting scary good. Even my tech-savvy uncle got done last week.
hell, if we let everyone off the hook nothing will change. Darwinism works in IT too.
Honestly, the average person doesn't stand a chance. Phishing emails are getting proper convincing now.
