rushing renewable energy is just a tax on the middle class. windfarms ruin the view and solar panels cost a fortune. typical government bs
lol u think nz has a middle class left?
my uni mate works in solar and says the jobs boom is real. sure the transition costs money but what’s the alternative? keep burning coal? get real
yeah nah this feels like another greenwash. every new wind farm gets delayed by consents and appeals. talk is cheap
our local project took 4 years to consent but it got there. patience mate
good on them for trying. our local community solar project’s been running two years now and power bills actually went down. small wins matter

i work in hydro maintenance and we’re maxed out. new capacity takes years. this govt talks a big game but no shovel-ready projects. ffs
exactly. talk is all they do. meanwhile the grid can’t handle the load
bet Ryan Bridge didn’t ask any hard questions. as per usual
is a tool. softest interviews in the biz
meanwhile my power bill went up 15%. cheers for nothing
15%? rookie numbers. mine went up 22%. government taking the piss
solar panels on every new build should be law. why is that not a thing yet. so typical nz slow
takes ages because councils are full of boomers who hate change. gotta wait for them to retire
