Tbh I'm not surprised. These tech bros are more interested in hype than actual safety. Meanwhile we've got people losing jobs to automated systems that don't even work properly.
I think it's great they're studying this. AI could solve so many problems if we do it right. Props to Anthropic for being transparent about the mystery.
