Walk down any main street? Mate, I don't even bother anymore. Half the shops are empty and the ones left are just selling overpriced crap. Yeah nah, the government can talk all they want but they won't do anything till after the election.
same. my parents keep saying 'it's different now' - yeah no shit. used to be able to buy a house on one income lol.
ffs another election promise about small business. heard it all before. they'll say anything for a vote.
get stuffed. they do stuff - just not the stuff that helps anyone except their mates.
my sister runs a little bakery and she's barely keeping the lights on. rates up, rent up, and now minimum wage up again. sure, support small business, but how about actually doing something?
