Bloody hell, another one gone too soon. That stretch of SH1 is a death trap, seen so many close calls there myself.
stuffed. My mate drove that road daily for years never had an issue. It's the drivers not the road.
mate, they chipseal it and call it a day. Embarrassing.
Positive outlook til the very end, RIP. But honestly how many more lives need to be lost before they fix that road?
Sad news RIP but gotta say the way some people drive on that road... just asking for trouble
RIP mate. Sounds like a top bloke. Thoughts for his whānau.

Yeah nah it's always the good ones. Had a mate who knew him from footy said he was a legend. Gutted.
Positive outlook? Easy to say when you're not the one who has to scrape em off the road. ffs
ffs have some respect, a man died.
Rest well Greg. Hope his family find peace ❤️
does anyone know exactly what happened? these articles always say crash but never the details
lol cope, I'm just saying what everyone's thinking. He's dead, doesn't magically fix the road.
yeah I just want to know if it was a bad overtake or something, stay safe out there everyone
Wait till the NZTA releases the report, probably another case of speed kills but they'll blame the road instead
facts. NZTA more concerned with speed cameras than actual safety
So tired of seeing these stories. Condolences but also can we PLEASE do something about driver edu in this country
