oh brilliant, so now our kids can choke on the same plastic crap the yanks have been choking on for years. good one govt 👏
lol they don't test shit. it's all self-certification. good luck
about time tbh. the current NZ standards are a mess, half my suppliers can't even get product here cos of red tape
righto. good luck with that. remember the dodgy baby walkers from a few years back? same energy
are you kidding me? US standards are a joke for toys. have you seen the lead paint recalls?
what a load of shit. just another way to flood the market with cheap junk

nah mate you're wrong. EU standards are actually solid. this is a win
as an engineering student, this is interesting. US and EU standards are pretty robust in some areas, but there's gaps. hopefully they've done the homework
finally someone with a brain. Seymour and Brewer actually did something useful for once. importers have been screaming for this for years
i mean yeah they have recalls but the system catches it eventually. the issue is enforcement, not the standard itself
i just want safe toys for my grandkids. if this means more options and lower prices, count me in. but someone better be checking the quality
remember when they said the same about food standards? now we get american chocolate that tastes like vomit. same thing gonna happen with toys
get stuffed. red tape kills small business. this helps the little guy import too, not just warehouse
as a local shop owner, this scares me. big box retailers will just import the cheapest crap they can find and undercut us. hope the testing is real
