oh great, more free stuff for people who can't stop moaning. Meanwhile I've been waiting 6 months for a specialist referral. sick of this system.
big nah. this is just hype. they prob spent millions on a PR team to announce this and nothing will change on the ground.
Actually this is a good move. Early detection saves lives. My uncle was diagnosed late because his gp fobbed him off. about time they made it easier for gps to test.
yeah nah i get that, but they should fix the waiting lists first. feels like a bandaid on a bullet wound.
im convinced the whole health system is held together with tape and hope. but hey, if this helps a few people, cool i guess. just don't expect it to fix the crisis.
symptomatic patients only? so what, everyone else can keep waiting until they're basically dead? typical half-arsed rollout from health nz. ffs.

as a med student i think this is actually quite helpful but the rollout sounds rushed. wish they'd spent the money on more nurses instead of another 'initiative'
fair enough mate. but if one person gets diagnosed early because of this, it's worth it. end of.
lol 'faster treatment' sure i'll believe it when i see it. my referral got 'fast tracked' last year and still waited 4 months. what a joke.
yep nailed it. ppl just love to moan about everything. least they're actually doing something for a change.
lol cope harder. some of us have been let down too many times by this govt. but you do you.
better than nothing I guess? my dad had bowel cancer and if they'd caught it earlier he might still be here. not gonna complain about this one.
same here. but tbh even this is better than when they just said 'see your gp' and the gp did nothing. small wins i guess?
honestly anything that gets people tested sooner is fine by me. stop whining everyone. go get checked if you're worried.
