Spent ages trying to get a refund from a dodgy tradie in Hamilton. Found out about the Disputes Tribunal – only $45 to file and you don't need a lawyer. Just make sure you have photos, texts, and any receipts. Worked a treat for me and saved a headache. Thought others might find this handy.
