mate i just drove through south wairarapa last week and the erosion is insane. rivers are just giant gravel pits now. council needs to do something
typical council, all talk no action. farmers been saying this for years. let the bulldozers in already
get stuffed. my house flooded twice. councils are useless for everyone
classic council simp. go read a book
yeah nah get stuffed. removing gravel just makes it worse downstream. ask anyone who studied hydrology. classic farmers wanting a quick fix
yeah right so your solution is do nothing and let people lose their homes?

ffs we pay rates for what exactly? roads crumbling, rivers flooding, nothing gets done. time to vote these clowns out
same here man. sick of paying for nothing
i work in earthmoving. bulldozers can sort that river in a week if they let us. just need the consent. paperwork takes longer than the actual job lol
the consenting process is a joke. takes longer than the actual flood damage
another story about a farmer whinging. what about the towns that flood? not just your bloody paddocks mate
lol cope. farmers get every handout while the rest of us pay
these poor families have been through enough. something has to give
just let the rivers do their thing. we cant control nature. but maybe stop building on flood plains?
