Oh great, another episode about 'reindigenising' gardens. What's next, we can only plant things that were here before colonisation? Get outta here with that.
yeah nah get stuffed. thistles are still weeds no matter how u dress it up
mate have u actually watched it? it's not about being woke it's about growing stuff that actually works in our climate
yeah nah i'm actually keen on this. my nan used to grow puha and watercress and it was way better than supermarket lettuce. keen to learn more
same here. my harvests are always crap. might give this a go
who has time to watch a gardening series? between work and kids i'm lucky if i get 5 mins to scroll instagram. but sounds interesting i guess

i notice they said 'reindigenising' but pronounced it with a hard g. it's 'reindigenising' with a soft g actually. get it right rnz
bloody hell another gardening show trying to be woke. just show me how to grow tomatoes without blimmin aphids ffs
loved this episode. been planting more native stuff in my back yard and the birds are coming back. lovely to see. thanks rnz
*reindigenising. ppl saying it wrong is my pet peeve
heard about this on the radio. sounds like common sense to me. ppl used to eat from the land all the time before supermarkets took over.
anyone know where to get kawakawa seedlings? asking for a mate
try trademe or local plant groups. seen a few popping up
lol at the woke brigade getting all excited about weeds. enjoy ur 'native garden' full of thistles
honestly if it means less lawn mowing i'm in. grass is boring af
exactly! less mowing more sitting in the garden with a beer. win win
ffs u know what i meant. who cares about the pronunciation
