FFS $400 a month?? Just eat less and move more, it's not rocket science 🙄
lol you think ppl on these drugs are lazy? it's a metabolic disease, not a choice
yeah nah the whole 'forever drug' thing is a bit sus. like what happens when u stop? surely it's not just maintenance
if it were that easy no one would be fat. but yeah $400 is a joke
Big pharma's wet dream. Get ppl hooked on expensive shit then watch 'em yo-yo back up. Rinse and repeat.
As someone in the industry, the rebound effect is real. We see patients regain weight fast after stopping. The exit plan needs more research.

same thing happened to my sister. it's like your body fights back hard
my mate was on it for 6 months, lost shitloads, then came off and put it all back on plus more. what a waste of money
im a student and i cant even afford the weekly shop let alone $400 a month for some injection. healthcare should be free wtf
we're working on it but funding is slow. these comments show how much education is needed
But what about the cost to the taxpayer if everyone goes on these? Already struggling with diabetes meds. Catch-up needed here.
facts. they should be covered by Pharmac if they actually work long term
