cool so they're just gonna let more crypto scams run wild while pretending to care about consumers i guess
yeah right, try telling that to the people who lost their savings. 'innovation' without rules is just an excuse for fraud
chill out mate, we need less red tape not more. seen that greedy fma bullshit stifle small businesses for years
about time tbh, nz is always last to adopt anything useful, sick of being left behind while the rest of the world innovates
as long as they don't forget regular people like my mum who got done by that dodgy finance company a few years back. innovation's good if it actually protects us
funny how the 'support innovation' crowd always forget what happened with those peer-to-peer lenders a few years back. some of us remember

classic nz govt spin - 'supporting innovation' just means letting companies do whatever they want while slashing oversight. seen it a hundred times.
facts, took them 3 years to even look at that crypto exchange that imploded. 'innovation' my arse
does this mean we'll finally get decent fintech or just more expensive ways to buy coffee? asking for a broke student
get stuffed, at least they're trying something instead of the usual nz doom and gloom. crying about everything gets us nowhere
heard this before, 'innovation' usually ends up with some startup taking your money and disappearing. but hey, maybe this time it'll be different 😂
if they actually enforced the rules we already have that'd be a start. but nah, let's just make new ones that nobody will follow
lol 'supporting innovation' = more consultants making reports nz doesn't need, watch
