Stormy weather? Yeah nah, more like council cutbacks on monitoring. They'll blame anything but themselves.
Wonder if the new wind farm off the coast had anything to do with it. Water can get weird from those vibrations eh.
nah mate, vibrations don't kill fish. It's likely lack of oxygen from all the sediment stirred up.
I work on the harbour. Seen some weird shit lately with the water temp. Wouldn't be surprised if it's warmer runoff hitting a cold patch and shocking them.
so sad. used to see heaps of rays at that beach when i was a kid. now it's just dead ones
Let me guess, no one will actually investigate. Just another 'natural event' while we keep trashing the coast.

we all know how well 'trust the process' works around here 🙄
Volunteers are legends for cleaning that up. Absolute troopers.
anyone else think it's sus that the rig sharks died too? they're tough buggers. This is bigger than just a storm imo
Exactly. Sharks and rays don't just drop dead for nothing. Wonder if someone dumped something?
Lived here 40 years. Never seen anything like it. Something's off.
Right? i saw those photos and nearly cried. poor things
Probably just a natural cycle tbh. But y'all love a conspiracy.
stuffed. You don't see a mass die-off every year do ya?
