mate the rescue guys are legends but maybe don't put yourself in that position in the first place. common sense costs nothing.

the standard summit track but conditions change fast. Have heard similar stories from others.
good gear doesn't stop you falling. it just stops you dying. hope the hospital bills aren't brutal.
