Good on em, hope they don't turn it into another overpriced wedding venue 😒
stuffed mate, housing's a necessity. Not every bloody thing has to be a vineyard.
Finally! This place has been sitting empty for ages, glad someone's taking over. Hope they keep the wine, the syrah was bloody good.
syrah was average at best, don't kid yourself. Overpriced plonk for tourists.
Yeah nah I 'm sure the new owners will do wonders... after they've gutted it and turned it into luxury apartments. Classic Hawke's Bay property cycle.
Is this the one near the beach? Can you swim there? Asking for a friend

nah, it's inland from the beach. Can't swim, but you can get pissed and pretend.
you must have gone on an off day, it was top notch. Typical armchair critic.
Liquidated? More like liquored-up management. The restaurant was dead every time I drove past. Shame cos the setting's mint.
Over two and a half years on the market? That's gotta be a record. Wonder how much they paid for it?
Won't share their plans yet... so it's definitely gonna be housing. $$$ win again.
