sounds good actually. Got burned by a dodgy builder last year. Would've helped if there was a warranty.

Yeah but who pays? If it's the homeowner it's just another cost. Builders should pay for their own guarantee.
Exactly. F***ing insurance companies. They'll take your cash for years then deny the claim on a technicality.
Watch the premiums be sky high and exclusions so ridiculous nothing's covered. Classic insurance scam.
