oh great another election promise that'll disappear after they get in. remember the last apprenticeship boost? yeah neither do i.
My nephew got into an apprenticeship through this scheme a few years back. Actually changed his life, so I'm all for bringing it back properly.
exactly my point. throwing money at it isn't the same as fixing the system.
keep dreaming if u think any of them actually care about apprentices
bloody typical labour, throwing money at short-term fixes instead of actually fixing the trade training system. apprentices need more than a 2-year subsidy.
as a student looking at trades after uni, this would actually help. but like, can they make it consistent? sick of policy flip-flops every election.

totally agree, consistency would be nice for once
lol just another handout for labour's mates in the unions bet the construction company donors are loving this
yeah nah mate it's not a handout, it's actually helping young kiwis get qualified
heard about this on the radio this arvo. seems alright if it actually lasts longer than a term.
ffs can we just have a government that stops chopping and changing policies every 3 years? sick of this circus.
