So a squash player who got a concussion is now coaching for the Olympics? Sounds like the kind of resume they accept when nobody else applies.
weird take mate. coaching after injury is literally one of the most natural transitions in sport.
I mean, good for her, but surely there's more qualified coaches out there? Or is this just another feel-good story while the sport struggles for funding?
Joelle King is a beast, hope Emma can bring that energy to the coaching. Still, LA is a long way off, let's see if we even have a team by then.
fair point, but funding's still a joke
bloody hell, another coach from a concussion? hope she's not handing out advice on head injuries lol

Honestly stoked to see ex-players moving into coaching. That's how we build depth in NZ sport. Emma knows what it takes at the top level.
concussion took her out, now she's coaching? bit ironic but whatever, good luck to her
Had the pleasure of being coached by Emma a few years back - she's got an eye for technique. This could be a great move for the women's team.
ffs can we stop pretending squash is a real Olympic sport? It's basically racquetball for people who think they're posh.
lol found the squash fan
get stuffed, squash takes more skill than your armchair critiquing
How many Commonwealth medals has Joelle King won again? Oh right, she's gold. But sure, let's bag the sport because you can't hack it.
cope harder, racquetball is literally an Olympic sport now. squash is dead.
exactly! people don't realise how demanding it is.
yeah nah squash is legit. Hardest workout I've ever done. Respect to anyone who plays at that level.
