Oh great, another 'craft' thing for people with too much money. NZ's coffee is already fine imo.
exactly, it's a niche product for tourists and wealthy boomers having a midlife crisis
I'm actually really keen on this. Make it a destination, a ritual. Good on them 👏
same, i'd pay extra for a story and some atmosphere tbh
Prob just gonna charge $12 for a small flat white at their 'slow ritual' cafe. Hard pass from me
yep, and the rest of us get to smell the hipster farts from down the road

Yooo this is cool, always wanted to try local beans. Anyone know where to buy in Auckland?
Love the idea but the reality is NZ just doesn't have the climate for mass production. It'll always be a novelty for hipsters
yeah nah they're gonna struggle to compete with real coffee countries
Get stuffed with these premium prices. I worked in coffee for 10 years, this is just marketing fluff. Beans are beans
lol cope. just enjoy your instant and let others have nice things
bet they use that nice Northland soil to charge $60 a kilo. No thanks
facts, this is such a non-issue but here we are arguing about beans
haha imagine getting this angry about a plant. just don't go mate
