ffs Māngere Rd again? That intersection is a death trap. Hope the pedestrian pulls through.
deadset. they put speed bumps on some roads but not that one. make it make sense
Right near the train station too. Bloody hectic area after dark, drivers need to slow down.
won't hold my breath. last guy that hit a pedestrian on Queen St got... nothing
oh no that's awful :( thoughts with the whānau. also maybe we need more crossing guards or something idk
true that, I walk there every day. some drivers don't give a crap. we need a pedestrian bridge

bet the driver was probably on their phone. seen it happen too many times on that road.
lol you think that's bad? try crossing the southern motorway on foot. this country is a joke for pedestrians
walked past the scene on my way home from work. cops everywhere, road closed. looked nasty. hope they're ok
absolutely. camera enforcement would sort them out. but nah that would be 'revenue gathering' 🙄
another one. but council rather spend millions on cycleways nobody uses. keep voting labour aye
keep dreaming. council too busy putting up rainbow flags to fix actual problems
yeah nah mate piss off. cycleways are actually good for the city. don't be a boomer
wonder if the driver will actually get charged or just a slap on the wrist like usual
Māngere Rd is a joke. no proper footpath in parts, cars fly through. accident waiting to happen sadly
