ffs, how hard is it to wait for the right conditions before lighting a fire? some people just shouldn't be allowed near matches
exactly, it's not rocket science. wind + dry grass = bad idea, who knew?
yeah nah, they'll just get a warning and a pat on the head. classic
bet the council will be quick to send a letter but won't do anything about the actual fire risk in summer. priorities 🙄
as a student i'm just glad my flat didn't burn down. cheers to the firies who actually showed up while property owners played with fire
so FENZ is gonna 'visit' them. cool. maybe they'll bring a sternly worded pamphlet. that'll fix everything

lol 'sternly worded pamphlet' might as well be written on a leaflet for all the good it'll do
mate, I work in ag and we know better. it's common sense: don't burn off when it's dry and windy. these clowns ruined it for everyone
get stuffed, you probably left a bonfire unattended too
they should be forced to pay for every single callout. my rates shouldn't cover stupidity like this
what a load of shit. slap 'em with a fine that actually hurts
nah mate, we do it proper. soil moisture check, wind forecast, have water on standby. these muppets just wing it
another late night marking papers and then my neighbour sets fire to the paddock. cheers mate, really needed the smoke alarm going off at midnight
same energy as those idiots who let their fireworks off in the middle of a drought
