ah yes, the classic 'we need more housing' but let's bulldoze a golf course. real smart. 🙄
same. council can't even fix the roads round here. more houses will just make it worse.
wait the mayor is actually against fast-tracking? that's... surprising. usually they're all in for developers.
keep the golf course. where else am i meant to practice my putting?
no dog walking? tragic
good on the mayor for standing up. we need green spaces, not more cookie-cutter subdivisions.

lol the nimbys are out in force. we need houses, not grass for rich people to hit balls on.
I've lived in Pegasus for 12 years. This golf course is a community hub. Kids learn there. Retired folks walk their dogs. And now some developer with deep pockets wants to concrete it over? The mayor is right to fight this. Fast track approval is a joke – just a way to bypass proper consultation. Councillors should hang their heads in shame if this goes through.
oi the 'community hub' is a golf course for boomers. let's build for the future
nah you're missing the point, we need mixed use not just throwing up houses anywhere
honestly who needs another housing estate? the infrastructure can't keep up as it is.
can someone explain what 'fast track' actually means? like is it just skipping consents?
it means they rubber stamp it and tell locals to get stuffed
ffs another fast track? this govt is so desperate for housing they'll approve anything. quality will be crap.
exactly, it's a race to the bottom
