Abuse in care redress legislation passes final reading in Parliament

about bloody time. now actually pay them properly without making em jump through hoops for years

as a student studying social work this is huge. finally some accountability for the state

yeah nah i'll believe it when i see the money actually land in people's accounts

what a joke. this is just a bandaid on a festering wound. they should be in prison not writing cheques
