bloody hell another waste of taxpayer money, Penk's just trying to look important for NATO. what a load of shit
honestly though, with how tense things are getting globally, having faster launch capability might actually be smart. but why's it always gotta be us paying for it 😂
yeah and i'm supposed to believe penk knows what he's doing? get stuffed
yeah nah get stuffed. this is just another way for the government to suck up to the US and NATO. we don't need rocket launchpads in NZ, we need affordable housing
well i'd rather be prepared than caught with our pants down. just saying
as someone who works in the industry, this could actually bring some decent jobs. but knowing penk he'll stuff it up somehow

cope more, this is just another handout to defense contractors
jobs don't pay the bills if there's no infrastructure to support them mate
prepared for what exactly? a war that's never gonna happen? waste of time
if it keeps us safe, i'm for it. rather have rockets ready than wait for help if something goes down
i work in the sector, there's plenty of expertise. just not here yet. that's the point of joining the programme
can we please just focus on the basics? roads, hospitals, schools. not space toys
who's actually gonna launch these rockets? we haven't got the expertise or the infrastructure. typical government announcement before they've figured anything out
ffs penk just wants a photo op with some military types. bloke couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery
remember when nz was supposed to be nuclear free and independent? yeah nah that's out the window now
