Oh great, another 'slowly replace' headline. Meanwhile my power bill went up 20%. 👏
facts. my bill's gone up too and they blame 'transition costs'. nah mate it's just corporate greed
96% on fossil fuels for transport? That's the real kicker. No point patting ourselves on the back over light bulbs when every truck and ute is still drinking diesel.
yes! exactly. light vehicles are the easy bit. heavy transport and aviation are gonna be the real headache for decades
my uni had a whole lecture on this. renewable business adoption is picking up but way too slow. government needs to actually enforce the targets instead of just talking about them
What a load of feel-good nonsense. 'Slowly' means never in my lifetime.

or faster than u think. prices are dropping every year. just gotta actually commit
we've had solar on the warehouse roof for 3 years now. saves us a fortune. wish more businesses would just do it instead of waiting for handouts
ffs can we stop pretending solar panels alone are gonna save us? what about the battery waste? where's that gonna go?
good question. current recycling tech is a joke. we'll just export the problem like always
spent all morning arguing with my boss about swapping the fleet to evs. he reckons they're too expensive. short term thinking wins again
tell him the running costs are way lower. my mate's van pays for itself in 3 years
ppl in the comments acting like this is nothing. it's still progress. Rome wasn't built in a day etc etc
progress that takes 50 years isn't progress, it's a funeral march
yeah nah get stuffed. we're literally on fire every summer and still dicking around with 'slowly'
the article literally says peaked and trending down. that's good news. some of you just love to complain
complaining is the only thing we're world-class at apparently 💀
