As someone who's been skiing for 40 years, I can tell you this 'new snow' won't make up for the pathetic start to the season. Global warming is real, folks. Enjoy it while it lasts.
mate, don't be such a downer. It's good news for the local businesses.
yeah nah, they say 'partial openings' every year. I'll believe it when I see it. 😒
lol you must be new here. They always say that.
ffs why do they even bother with these articles? just a bunch of rich pricks complaining about their holidays. meanwhile some of us can't afford a loaf of bread.
nah, get stuffed. Some of us work hard and deserve a break.

I've been waiting for this! Finally some snow. Hopefully the season isn't a total write-off.
Did anyone else notice they said 'Paul Anderson, NZSki chief executive' but didn't mention his salary? Bet it's over 500k while they charge $150 for a day pass.
facts. it's a rip-off but what else is there to do in winter?
This is the most boring news I've read all week. Snow in winter? Shocker. Next you'll tell me water is wet.
Worked at Coronet Peak for three seasons. Those guys are hopeless. They'll open with one run and call it a success. Good luck getting your money's worth.
I've had nothing but good times at Coronet. Maybe you're just bitter.
