Another $30m for 'deep tech' – aka stuff that'll never see the light of day. Meanwhile my KiwiSaver's down 12% this year. Cool cool cool.
my KiwiSaver's in Simplicity and it's done fine. Maybe check your fund? Just saying.
Tbh I'd rather my money go into actual Kiwi companies that pay tax here, not some venture fund that'll probably move to a PO box in the Caymans. But whatevs.
😂 no u. I'm in growth and it's still crap. But whatever makes u sleep at night.
I put $20 in a vending machine once and got stuck. That's my deep tech story. 🤷♂️
nah they're not that bad. Bridgewest actually have a decent track record in biotech. Do some research before hating.

Bridgewest? The same clowns that bought the Invercargill airport and ran it into the ground? Yeah nah, I'll pass.
Honest question – is this actually good for NZ or just another tax dodge for the wealthy? Cos $30m could build a lot of state houses.
Lol 'health sciences fund' – you mean gonna fund more apps that tell me to do yoga while I can't afford a GP? Cheers Simplicity.
Shocked I tell you. Shocked. Another fund for the 'innovators' who'll just patent something and sell to an American corp. Good one.
lol. People here just wanna moan. At least Simplicity is trying to invest locally instead of all in shares. Give 'em credit.
