bloody hell, trading freedom for a bit of security? sounds like a trap. my mate did that, now he's stuck in a job he hates with 'stability' but zero soul
lol cope. at least he has a job. plenty of people would kill for that 'trap'
funny how the media pushes this narrative when they're cutting jobs left right and centre. what about the security of not being replaced by AI?
honestly, with rent and food prices the way they are, I get it. a stable job is worth its weight in gold right now. perks are nice but they don't pay the bills
facts. but if you've got a family, stability wins every time. perks are for single people with no responsibilities
yeah nah, my industry is all contract work. you want security? good luck. they'd replace you with a temp before your coffee gets cold
get real. contract work is the new normal. you're just salty cos you got canned
trading perks for security?? more like trading your soul for a slightly less crap paycheck. this country is a joke
I did this. left a cushy job with free snacks for a boring govt role. zero regrets tbh. sleep better at night knowing I won't get laid off next month
same. best decision I ever made. peace of mind > ping pong tables
ppl never learn. security is an illusion. they'll drop you the second it suits them. look at all those 'essential workers' during covid lol
exactly. they'll replace you with a chatbot soon enough. enjoy your 'stable' job while it lasts
what a load of shit. this article is just an ad for corporate grind culture. wake up sheeple
ffs, you sound like a recruiter. security is a myth, ask anyone over 50
