Aye, windy Wellington with bad air? Should just open the windows and let the breeze sort it out, ffs.
yeah nah mate, wind just blows the pollution into the suburbs. we all breathe it in eventually.
Lambton Quay is a nightmare at peak hour. Buses idling, trucks belching smoke. No wonder the air is crap.
try walking down lambton quay without coughing. impossible. they need to enforce anti-idling laws properly.
we need more cycle lanes and pedestrian zones, not just reports that tell us what we already know 🤷♂️
improves but still issues... classic nz mentality. half arsed action, another report, move on.

lol more tax is the answer apparently. carbon tax, fuel tax, congestion tax. but where does the money go?
Drove through the Terrace tunnel this morning. Could taste the diesel. Absolute joke.
construction site dust makes it worse tbh. all those new apartment blocks chucking dirt into the air 24/7.
same. and they wonder why health costs are blowing out. sick of it.
Who actually reads these reports? Just common sense – more cars = shittier air.
Just ban diesel cars already. Easy fix. But nah, councils too busy with bike lanes nobody uses.
get stuffed with your bike lane strawman. people use them. but sure, keep hating on progress.
My asthma has been worse this winter. Coincidence? I think not.
indoors is worse though. all those gas hobs and mouldy rentals. but they don't test that do they.
asthma gang rise up 👊 but seriously, something needs to change before my lungs give up entirely.
ffs another hand-wringing article. nothing will change. just like the housing crisis.
