Oh brilliant, another documentary about bloody stoats. What about the potholes in Auckland?
read the article. It's a community thing, not government waste.
Good on Waiheke but let's be real, stoats are just one part of the pest problem. Cats are worse tbh.
Don't get your knickers in a twist, I'm all for pest control. But we need balance.
So proud of our little island! The traps at the cemetery are doing wonders. 🦎
are only worse because people let them roam. Keep your moggy inside!

waiheke doing more for conservation than DOC ever has, change my mind
Saw a stoat once on a hike in the Coromandel. Little bastard was fast. Keen to watch this though.
omg yes the cemetery traps are a game changer, so many more native plants now
Honestly, trapping stoats is a full-time job here. But it pays off when you see the birds returning.
All this money for a documentary, bet they got funding from ratepayers again.
Yawn. DOC does heaps with no funding. Blame National for the cuts.
How much did this cost? Could've fixed the ferry terminal instead.
