about time someone speaks up for the kids who get forgotten. seen too many slip through the cracks
facts. they've been saying this for decades, nothing changes
yeah good luck with that. govt'll throw money at some consultancy report and call it a day
and now they're claiming success with some pilot scheme. seen it all before
as someone who actually works in alt ed, the funding gap is massive. we're basically running on duct tape and good will
yeah nah i hear you. just frustrating seeing the same cycle

what a load of shit. my mate teaches in mainstream and they're struggling too. stop pitting schools against each other
get stuffed. all schools are underfunded but alt ed kids are the most vulnerable, they should be priority
had a cousin in alt ed, honestly saved his life. but the system post-18 is broken too. where do they go after?
this exactly. there's like zero transition support, they just get dumped back into the system
bloody typical, election coming up so promise everything. show me the money not the talk
lol watch them announce some $50m program that goes into admin salaries
worked with these kids for 10 years. the funding model is from like 2005. needs a total overhaul
remember when they cut the alt ed budget in 2024? now they're acting surprised it's a crisis. ffs
meanwhile they find billions for stadiums and roads. priorities eh
