Gotta say, at least they're chipping away at the elective list. My nana got her hip done months earlier than they said. Small wins I guess.
what a load of shit. ED wait times barely improve? tell that to the people sitting in the waiting room for 8 hours with a broken arm
ffs just more spin from the government. 'more people getting elective treatment' yeah cos they're gonna run out of time before the election lol
facts. my cousin's kid had a broken bone and waited 6 hours. 'barely improved' is a joke
preach. we're running on fumes and they just move the goalposts
Work in the system, can confirm ED is a nightmare. Staff are burnt out, we're doing the best we can with what we've got. Targets don't mean shit when there's no beds.

Wonder if they're counting the new private surgical hospital as 'public' elective treatment... 🤔
yeah nah they definitely are. classic PR move
get stuffed. we all know how these stats work
My mate waited 11 hours in ED last week with a kidney stone. Barely improved my arse.
Yeah fair point about ED, I've had my share of long waits too. Just trying to see a bit of good where I can
oh look it's the 'everything is fine' crowd. spare me
nah mate I'm not saying it's fine, just saying it's not all bad. jeez
the only thing improving is the minister's media budget
ha too right. the target moved from 6 hours to 8, so technically it 'improved'
