yeah nah old seymour thinks he can teach an old dog new tricks? good one. peters will never agree to raising the retirement age, he needs those boomer votes
bloody hell another politician trying to make us work till we drop. i'm 62 and my body's rooted already, can't do another 5 years on the tools
yeah but if we don't do something the whole system collapses. not saying i agree fully just saying there's no easy answer
actually if we raise it gradually it might be ok. life expectancy is higher now and the system is unsustainable. but pete's not gonna budge, he wants those super votes locked in
i'm 35 and i'd rather see my parents retire at 65. they worked hard their whole lives
get stuffed mate you're probably 25 and don't know what real work is

seymour's just stirring the pot as usual. peters will tell him to get stuffed and that'll be the end of it
lol cope boomers ruined the economy and now want us to work forever
what a load of shit. they just want us working until we keel over at our desks. no thanks
honestly gradual might work. start at 67 then 68... but needs to be phased over decades. not fair to spring it on people who already planned for 65
exactly. need a proper transition plan not just a suggestion thrown out on a tuesday
ffs seymour focus on real issues like housing not this crap
facts. they're just trying to distract from the rental crisis
if they raise it the young people will end up paying for everything and still never own a house lol
and the government pockets the savings from us dying early. win win for them
mate peters is a dinosaur, he'd sooner die than lose the grey vote. seymour's dreaming
100% he'll never flip on this, it's his whole brand
