yeah nah, rules are rules. if they get special treatment just cos they're nice, then what's the point?
Yikes, holding a kiwi? That's a big no-no. But these guys have been doing it for 34 years, surely they know better. Bit of a stuff-up though.

I'm a student studying conservation and honestly, you should NEVER let a member of the public hold a kiwi. DoC is right. These rules exist for a reason.

awful timing for the Webbs, they've done so much good. but a fine is a fine, hope they sort it out
