as someone who works in aged care, this is a bit of a mixed bag tbh. some of these 'lifestyle villages' are just thinly veiled retirement homes anyway. but having a minimum age seems like a fair condition for a place marketed as over-50s. courts overreaching.
about time. age discrimination is still discrimination. housing should be for everyone, not just wealthy boomers.

same as race or gender??? you've got to be kidding. age is different. but still not ok to blanket ban people. there are better ways to create age-friendly spaces without being exclusionary.
