So the cops are finally doing something? Good on em. Wonder what happened to all that stuff though, bet some of it 'mysteriously' vanishes...
Yeah mate, 17 tonnes is huge but feels like we're only catching the small fish. The big players are still laughing all the way to the bank.
my point. It's just PR.
Seizures don't mean much when the demand is still there. Need to focus on prevention and education too, not just busting shipments.
nah we need both enforcement and education but at least this is something
Classic media spin - 'we seized 17 tonnes' while ignoring that the Pacific is becoming a major transit hub. Doing the bare minimum and patting themselves on the back.

minimum? 17 tonnes is a lot of damage prevented, but i get your point
At least someone's trying. Better than the nz govt who can't even secure our own borders properly.
Well done to the doggos! Those sniffer pups are the real heroes here.
dogs are great but they're not stopping the root problem.
Interesting to see Australia taking lead in the Pacific. Wonder how much coordination actually happens with us.
mates. Its never enough for some ppl
better than nothing though! Give em some credit.
People complaining about the cops doing their job in here lmao. Never change facebook
