Of course the Ministry backed out. Typical govt waste – order 35 million masks, then panic when they arrive. Now lawyers are the only ones making money.

Wonder if they even checked the specs before ordering. 'Not up to scratch' – probably bought the cheapest ones from some mate's cousin's company.
tbf we needed masks back then. easy to say now but at the time everyone was panicking. govt had to act fast. not defending them but...

Oh dear. Hopefully lessons learned. But knowing govt stuff.. they'll just do it again. Keep the receipts people!

nah this is just bureaucracy covering its arse. someone up top gave a dodgy order and now they're burying it in legal fees. happens every time
