so private schools just do whatever they want? typical
yeah exactly what I was thinking, no standard = no data
lower suspensions probably just means they sweep it under the rug. no national standard = no accountability
bit rich comparing state and private when they deal with totally different kids. apples and oranges tbh
nah mate, some public schools are top-notch. it's about parenting not the school sign
but are the numbers actually lower or do they just not report it?

ffs maybe they don't need to suspend kids because parents at private schools actually give a damn about their kids' behaviour?
sure jan, and I got a bridge to sell you
wake up call for the ministry if you ask me
my mate teaches at a private school, they just call parents and make them pick up the kid. unofficial suspension lol
haha exactly, 'hey come pick up your little angel' - doesn't count in the stats
oooof that's a hot take. but yeah unofficially expelling kids is different from actually educating them
