Bloody hell, council cuts to fire services again and this is what happens. Hope everyone’s okay but ffs when will they learn?
agree with ya. Council’s too busy with cycle lanes.
Yeah nah, bet it was some dumb c**t with a illegal fire pit. Titahi Bay’s full of them.
So scary for the whānau there. Glad the fireys got it under control. Big ups to them!
‘It just blew up’ – classic headline. Probably someone’s BBQ got out of hand. 📉
here, scary stuff. My dog was shaking for hours after.

I live round the corner. The smoke was thick as, could barely see. Lucky the wind died down or half the suburb would be gone.
My mate lost his shed in that fire. Total write-off. Insurance better pay out.
will find a way to screw him. Always do.
Anyone know what started it? Constable mate said maybe a dropped ciggy on the dry grass. Warm winter we’re having eh.
I saw the smoke from my deck. Thought the world was ending lol.
Why is RNZ reporting this like it’s breaking news? Fires happen. Focus on housing crisis ffs.
mate, my mate’s cousin is a firefighter, it was someone burning rubbish in their backyard. Classic.
@user? yeah mate because reporting on a fire in a populated area isn’t important. Get a grip.
