Another one dead on these roads and nothing changes. Council just sitting on their hands as usual. 😡
Bloody hell, that corner near Kerikeri Inlet Rd is a death trap. I nearly got wiped out there last month.
me about it. I've got dashcam footage of near misses. Council doesn't give a toss.
rip to the person who died. thoughts with their whanau. but seriously when will they fix the road?
heartbreaking. The family will be in shock. Hope the seriously injured one pulls through.
yeah nah, typical. more money for cycle lanes in Auckland but nothing for rural roads where people actually die.

they dont care about us up here. auckland gets everything
Awful news. Sending love to the family. These things hit hard in small communities.
ffs how many more people have to die before they do something? speed bumps? roundabout? literally anything
my point. But the pockets of the contractors matter more than our lives.
Lived here 20 years. Seen it all. The road needs widening and they need to clear the vegetation. Simple stuff.
the vegetation isn't the problem. It's the idiots overtaking on blind corners.
Drive that road every day. It's not even that bad if people just slowed down. Tragic for the family though.
mate, speed's not always the issue. The road surface is shocking and there's no shoulder.
