thank god for the rain, those fires were getting scary close to my place
totally agree, the amount of flammable stuff around homes is a joke
classic Canterbury weather - drought then dump. Glad the firefighters got a break though
ffs just in time for winter. can't even have a proper fire season without the weather changing its mind
wonder if the councils will finally do something about fire risk management or just wait for the next one
good on the firies, absolute legends. now can we please ban people from doing burn-offs in summer?

nah mate blame the council for not clearing the gutters not the people trying to live their lives
said no one ever. hope your house doesn't go up next time
lol go back to your green party meetings
what a load of crap that they waited for rain. should have had more water bombers ready
ffs people like you are why nothing gets done. always blame the other guy
rain today fires tomorrow. climate change is real but no one wants to talk about that over their flat white
yeah nah get stuffed. the firies did what they could with what they had. easy to talk sh*t from your couch
same, leave the firies alone they did a great job
anyone else smell that? oh wait it's just the government trying to put out a fire with a garden hose
haha classic, blame the government for the weather now
facts. but we need to talk about the real issue - too many houses built in fire zones
