ffs, another 'oops wrong kid' moment. how do you handcuff an 11yo autistic girl and not realise? useless.
police need serious retraining. this is not acceptable.
it's not just retraining, they need to be held accountable. someone should lose their job over this.
yeah nah get stuffed. my cousin's kid is autistic and this would mess them up for life. pathetic.
that's reassuring your mate admits it. but still doesn't excuse what happened.
my mate's kid is also autistic. this kind of trauma sticks. can't believe they did this.

as a student studying criminology, this is textbook failure of de-escalation. the system is broken.
lol academy doesn't teach common sense. but yeah it's a mess.
bet they'll get a slap on the wrist and move on. same shit different day.
wonder how much taxpayer money will go to the inevitable settlement. probably cheaper to just train them properly.
i'm a cop's mate and even he thinks this is cooked. shows how basic checks get skipped.
settlements never fix the harm done. the kid will remember this forever.
