lettuce is like $12 a head now, how are pensioners meant to afford that on the super?
yeah nah, most of them own their homes and have savings. they're not all struggling.
oh here we go, another sob story for the boomers who own houses outright and spend winters in Fiji
different struggle mate, doesn't mean it's not real. try living on $400 a week
my nan's been eating baked beans on toast for a month straight because her super doesn't cover food and power
maybe if they stopped spending $50 a week on lotto they'd have more money for groceries

bloody hell, just raise the rates. it's not that hard. but nah, let's give another tax cut to landlords instead
not everyone owns a house genius. some pensioners rent and they're screwed
my dad's 72 and still working part time because the pension is a joke. he's too scared to retire.
facts. but boomers vote so they get what they want. we get nothing.
what a load of rubbish, pensioners are the richest demographic in the country. they're fine.
lol you reckon? show me a 70 year old renting on the coast who's 'rich'

ah yes, let's just print more money for the olds while young families can't afford rent. classic
